It’s with great pleasure that we write this review and recommendation for Carmela Occasions & Creations. She is outstanding!
Carmela was our wedding planner and designed the decorations including all the bouquets and floral designs. Her ability to capture our vision of romantic florals with a tropical island and mountain theme merged was extraordinary.
Carmela planned with us from a distance, as we live in Bermuda and she was extremely responsive and came up with great ideas of ways to share options of ideas for me to choose from.
Most of all we felt confident to let her produce this wedding, taking stress and worry from our plate. You need a planner and designer, and she does it all. Great level of packages to choose from. We highly recommend her.
In more detail, Chris and I were married February 29, 2020 at The 1927 Lake Lure Inn, in Lake Lure, NC, a destination wedding, as we live in Bermuda. We had 70 guests.
I’m from North Carolina and we wanted to be surrounded with the mountain charm while bringing the Bermuda pinks and culture to the Mountains.
Carmela exceeded our expectations in capturing the essences of our dream with her custom floral designs, centerpieces, ceremony, dining and after party spaces. She kept our theme throughout and saved us money and stayed within budget by mingling silk flowers with fresh flowers.
Carmela exceeded our expectations in the planning and day of task by being a constant support executing the schedule accordingly, ensuring a flawless wedding while staying calm with bubbly personality. We had 4 flower girls, a ring bearer and special music to walk down the isle. We needed her to direct the wedding, run the rehearsal and keep things moving along so we were able to move through our special moments, which she did with a smile.
It was a blessing and took so much pressure off of us to know we were in such great hands. My wedding guest could not say enough good things about her as well.
